Arlo has been with us a little over a month now and we are just having a blast with him. I won't bore you with his training details but he is almost housebroken and quite mannerly already. (I credit his amazing breeder with his excellent manners and good habits though I will take credit for the outdoor housetraining.)
He loves walking with us around the neighborhood every morning and he also loves playing ball. He's not really a fetcher, but a chaser, being a herding dog and he's created a little game I call dog soccer. We play it with a plastic ball that he can't bite or pick up but which is light enough for him to push around with his feet and nose. He can play this game for hours if we either kick it or throw it for him. He can move it around pretty well now and I'm hoping to teach him how to 'kick' it on command.
After a vigorous game it's always good to roll around in the grass.
These pictures are at least a week old and don't show how much he's grown. I need a new camera battery so will have more up to date pictures soon!
